- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (Duke’s preferred for Southern flavor, but Hellmann’s works too)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional but adds depth)
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for a spicy kick)
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt, or to taste
- 1 (4 oz) jar diced pimentos, drained well
- 1–2 teaspoons hot sauce (Crystal, Tabasco, or Frank’s)
