Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the Bread: Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush each slice lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Toast the Bread: Bake the baguette slices in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are golden and crispy.
- Add the Toppings: Remove the bread from the oven. Top each slice with a generous amount of shredded mozzarella and crumbled bacon.
- Melt the Cheese: Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired, and serve warm.
