Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8-ounce) can of thin crust refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1/3 cup pizza sauce (plus extra for dipping, if desired)
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1 cup cooked crumbled Italian meats (e.g., sausage or salami)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (e.g., mozzarella, provolone, or a blend)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional, for added flavor)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional, for seasoning)
  • Marinara or ranch dressing (for serving, optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with non-stick spray.

Step 2: Prepare the Dough

  • Roll out the 8-ounce can of thin crust refrigerated pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle (about 12x8 inches).
  • If the dough is too sticky, lightly dust it with flour.

Step 3: Add the Fillings

  1. Spread 1/3 cup of pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
  2. Layer the following ingredients evenly:
    • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
    • 1 cup cooked crumbled Italian meats (e.g., sausage or salami)
    • 2 cups shredded cheese (mozzarella, provolone, or a blend)
  3. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and garlic powder (optional) for extra flavor.

Step 4: Roll and Seal

  • Starting from the longer side, tightly roll the dough into a log, pinching the edges to seal.
  • Place the seam side down.

Step 5: Slice into Bites

  • Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to slice the log into 1-inch pieces (you should get about 20–24 bites).

Step 6: Arrange on Baking Sheet

  • Place the Stromboli bites on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one.
  • Brush the tops lightly with 1 tablespoon of olive oil for a golden, crispy finish.

Step 7: Bake

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Step 8: Serve

  • Let the Stromboli bites cool for 2–3 minutes.
  • Serve warm with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.

Optional Garnish:

  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley or grated Parmesan cheese for extra flair.
