Description

A salad is a dish consisting of small pieces of food, typically vegetables or fruit, which are mixed together and eaten cold. Salad is often considered a healthy option due to the wide variety of vitamins and minerals that it can contain. This particular salad contains strawberries, avocados, and spinach.


Ingredients

Scale
  • - ½ lb. fresh spinach 
  • - 1 avocado, diced 
  • - ½ pint strawberries, sliced 
  • - 2 tablespoons olive oil 
  • - 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar 
  • - salt and pepper to taste
    - 1 cup roasted cashew nuts
  • Optional one fresh lemon

Instructions

1- cut the strawberries into bite-sized pieces and slice the avocados into thin wedges or cubes.
2- combine these ingredients with some baby spinach leaves in a large bowl and toss gently until everything is evenly coated.

3-  add other toppings as desired. Some good options might include chopped walnuts or crumbled feta cheese for an extra boost of flavor and nutrients. 

4- drizzle on the olive oil and the balsamic vinegar 
5- you can top your salad with cashew nuts and a squeeze of lemon juice for added freshness.
6- When ready to serve, just toss everything together once more before portioning out your Salad, and enjoy!
