  1. Prepare your codfish
    Rinse the codfish fillet gently under cold water, then pat it completely dry using paper towels. This step is important—moisture can cause the breading to slip off. Use a sharp knife to cut the cod into even, 1-inch wide sticks or rectangular strips. Try to keep them uniform so they cook evenly.

  2. Set up a breading station
    Prepare three shallow bowls or plates:

    • Bowl 1: Add the gluten-free all-purpose flour and season it with a pinch of salt and pepper.

    • Bowl 2: Crack 2 large eggs into a bowl and beat them until smooth.

    • Bowl 3: Pour in the panko breadcrumbs. If you'd like extra flavor, stir in ½ teaspoon paprika or garlic powder.
      Set the bowls in a row for easy dipping.

  3. Coat the codfish in layers
