If you've ever tried goat cheese, then you know that it's unlike any other kind of cheese. Goat cheese is light, fluffy, and has a subtle tangy flavor. It's perfect for snacking on its own or serving as part of a dish.
-½ pound of goat cheese
-¼ cup olive oil
-1 tablespoon lemon juice
-1 teaspoon oregano
-½ teaspoon thyme
-¼ teaspoon rosemary
-½ cup kalamata olives, pitted and sliced
-salt and pepper to taste
Optional - red pepper flakes
1. Get all the ingredients together
2. On a serving platter, place the goat cheese.
3. Place the fresh herbs on top of the goat cheese before drizzling olive oil over it and sprinkling red pepper flakes for added flavor!
Note: The key to making a great platter is using fresh ingredients. If you're willing, why not garnish yours with leftover sprigs of herbs?
Serve with a baguette or crackers for an elegant presentation.
