Ingredients

Ingredients:

-1 pound of green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces

-8 ounces mushrooms, sliced

-1 tablespoon olive oil

-1 cloves garlic, minced

-1 teaspoon dried oregano

-Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

Directions

1 - Bring water to a boiling point.

2 - Green beans need to be washed and the ends trimmed. Any blemishes should also be removed.

3 - Cook the beans in boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain and rinse them to stop the cooking process. You can do this up to an hour before you want to use them.

4 - You need to clean mushrooms by brushing them off and then trimming the dry parts of the stems.

5 - Add the mushrooms. Sprinkle with garlic, oregano, pepper, and salt.

6 - Cook the mushrooms for about 10 minutes, stirring frequently, until they are golden brown.

7 - After the mushrooms have been cooking for 5 minutes, add the green beans.

8 - Five minutes before serving, add the green beans to the pan, tossing well to coat with the mushroom mixture.

9 - Cook until the green beans are heated through, about five minutes.
