    Delicious and healthy side dish

    Cook up some green beans with mushrooms for a delicious and healthy side dish. This recipe is easy to make and takes only a few minutes to prepare. Plus, it's low in calories and packed with nutrients.

    Ingredients

    Ingredients:

    -1 pound of green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces

    -8 ounces mushrooms, sliced

    -1 tablespoon olive oil

    -1 cloves garlic, minced

    -1 teaspoon dried oregano

    -Salt and black pepper to taste

    Directions

    1 - Bring water to a boiling point.

    2 - Green beans need to be washed and the ends trimmed. Any blemishes should also be removed.

    3 - Cook the beans in boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain and rinse them to stop the cooking process. You can do this up to an hour before you want to use them.

    4 - You need to clean mushrooms by brushing them off and then trimming the dry parts of the stems.

    5 - Add the mushrooms. Sprinkle with garlic, oregano, pepper, and salt.

    6 - Cook the mushrooms for about 10 minutes, stirring frequently, until they are golden brown.

    7 - After the mushrooms have been cooking for 5 minutes, add the green beans.

    8 - Five minutes before serving, add the green beans to the pan, tossing well to coat with the mushroom mixture.

    9 - Cook until the green beans are heated through, about five minutes.
