- - ½ tablespoon maple syrup (to naturally sweeten without refined sugars)
Instructions
Making raspberry chia seed jam is easier than you might think - and it's a great way to use up ripe raspberries! All you need is a few ingredients and about 20 minutes. Here's what you'll need to do:
-
- 1. Combine the raspberries, maple, and lemon juice in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until the raspberries start to release their juices.
-
- 2. Add the chia seeds and stir to combine. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let simmer for about 10 minutes.
-
- 3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Then transfer to a jar or container and store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. Enjoy on top of yogurt, oatmeal, or toast!
