    Watermelon Mint Lemonade

    Watermelon Mint Lemonade is the perfect drink for a hot summer day. The sweetness of the watermelon is offset by the tartness of the lemonade, while the mint adds a refreshing touch. Best of all, Watermelon Mint Lemonade is incredibly easy to make. Simply combine watermelon juice, lemon juice, mint leaves and sugar to taste. Then pour over ice and enjoy. Watermelon Mint Lemonade is the perfect drink for quenching your thirst on a hot summer day.

    You can say that this drink has a refreshing and invigorating taste, with the cooling effect of watermelon coupled by the zesty mint. A perfect combination for those hot summer days!

    How is Watermelon healthy

    This fruit is not only delicious but it's also healthy for you! It has tons of vitamins and minerals that your body needs. One small watermelon provides more than an day’s worth of vitamin C, which helps keep loans strong while preventing illness from spreading through cell walls in aBeautiful way - plus they're sweet so why wouldn't we want some?

    Ingredients

    For an adults-only variation, add some citrus-flavored vodka before serving.

    Ingredients:

    Mint Simple Syrup (optional)
    ½ cup granulated sugar
    ½ cup water
    ¼ cup tightly packed fresh mint leaves stems removed and crushed

    6 cup fresh watermelon, rinds removed and cut into chunks
    ¾ cup fresh lemon juice (6-8 medium lemons)
    ½ cup cold water, (plus more, if needed)
    ½ cup fresh mint leaves, tightly packed with stems removed 
    fresh mint sprigs, for garnish lemon slices, for garnish

    • In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, combine the sugar ( optional, if using ) with water and crushed mint leaves. Keep stirring until all of the sugar has dissolved completely (about 10 minutes). Reduce heat to low for 10 more minutes then remove from stove without Discard any leftover ingredients! Cool before using as desired
    • Carefully place watermelon chunks, lemon juice and ½ cup cold into a blender. Blend until liquefied then pour through fine mesh strainer to remove any larger particles of interest like seeds or fibers that may be present in the mixture before adding sweetener if desired with mint infused simple syrup being an option but not necessary at all times just when you want something more refreshing during hot weather seasons
    • To make the perfect summer drink, add ½ cup fresh mint leaves and then strain into a large glass pitcher or jar. Pour over ice cubes until it is almost full before topping off with watermelon mixture (you can also do this in reverse). Finally garnish by placing lemon slices on top for an extra something special!
    • To serve, pour over ice and add a sprig of fresh mint and a lemon slice for garnish.
