If you’re looking to mix things up and add a fruity twist to your traditional margarita, the Berry Cinnamon Margarita provides a unique take on one of the most popular drink recipes. By starting with a base of tequila and freshly squeezed lime juice, you can then add in your own variation using frozen berries and an added layer of sweet-and-spicy cinnamon simple syrup to give the drink some extra flavor. The possibilities for variations are endless; you can play around with different kinds of berries, like raspberries or blueberries, or switch up the type of tequila for a smokier taste. Storage
The Berry Cinnamon Margarita is a refreshing, sweet-tart drink perfect for long days in the sun. Its storage capacity depends on the tequila used and how close the recipe (ingredients) adhere to classic margarita concoction. Many recipes suggest using store bought margarita mix which is loaded with preservatives, allowing storage of the drink for over a month in the refrigerator. However, if you make your own fresh mix or add fresh fruit juices, storage time should be reduced to two or three days.
Top tip
When crafting the perfect Berry Cinnamon Margarita, there are a few top tips to keep in mind. First, make sure to use good-quality silver tequila for the base of the drink. Second, always use fresh fruit and top-shelf liqueurs for maximum taste and optimal flavor. Third, be sure to balance the tartness of the margarita mix and berries with just the right amount of sweetness from honey or agave. Finally, top off with a bruleed cinnamon sugar rim for a smoky kick – delicious! With these top tips, your Berry Cinnamon Margarita recipe is sure to become a favorite among friends and family for delicious summer cocktails.
