Instructions for making Berry Peach Sparkling “Sangria”
Prepare the fruit and muddle
Add the mixed berries and sliced peach to a large pitcher. Using a large wooden spoon, gently muddle the fruit for about 1–2 minutes to release the natural juices without completely breaking down the fruit.
- Tip: Avoid over-muddling to keep some fruit texture and avoid bitterness.
Add juices and cinnamon
Pour in the grape juice and orange juice. Add the cinnamon sticks for warm, aromatic flavor. Stir gently to combine all ingredients.
Chill the sangria
Cover the pitcher with plastic wrap or a lid. Place it in the refrigerator and chill for at least 4 hours, or overnight for deeper flavor infusion.
Serve with sparkling water
When ready to serve, fill individual glasses halfway with ice cubes. Pour in sparkling water to fill the glass about halfway.
- Pro tip: Use chilled sparkling water for the best fizz and refreshment.
Top with sangria and garnish
Carefully ladle the chilled sangria and fruit from the pitcher into each glass, topping off the sparkling water. Give a gentle stir to combine. Garnish each glass with a fresh orange wedge.
Enjoy!
Serve immediately for a refreshing, fruity sparkling sangria perfect for parties, brunch, or relaxing summer evenings.
