- 2 c. Fresh pineapple chunks
- 3 c. Strawberries, tops removed and halved
- 1 c. Heavy whipping cream
- 3 T. Powdered sugar
- 1 t. Pure vanilla extract

- Preheat an indoor grill pan or outdoor grill to medium heat.
- Cut the pound cake into bite-sized cubes.
- Thread onto BBQ skewers, alternating with strawberries and pineapple chunks in between.
- Grill on an outdoor grill or on a lightly greased grill pan until light grill marks form and the fruit begins to soften, 3-4 minutes per side.
- In a large bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract; continue to mix until incorporated.
- Serve the grilled pound cake and fruit with fresh whipped cream.
